GRAND OPENING

Proceedings were started by a blessing of the resort by three local clergy members, and guests were treated to a taste of the luxury hospitality they can expect at O2.

From colour-coordinated cocktails to deliciously artistic canapés and miniature desserts, the culinary team excelled themselves on this very special night, and the setting could not have been more beautiful, draped with festive decor and lights.

Looking spectacular in her cerise ball gown, CEO and Group General Manager, Patricia Affonso-Dass spoke to the audience of the journey which took under two years from ground-breaking to opening.

With five star luxury, exquisite restaurants, a reputation for genuine hospitality, and an entrancing stretch of white sand beach, O2 Beach Club & Spa promises to bring a new level of experience to the south coast of Barbados.

As Patricia later expressed: "Thank you to those who were able to join us for the glittering event. Your presence and participation brought our beautiful hotel to life. To our friends who couldn't be here, we missed your company and look forward to your continued support. We hope that you'll visit with us in the near future to experience our warm hospitality." 

She also thanked the entire O2 Beach Club & Spa team led by General Manager Elisabeth Alleyne, without whom the amazing event would not have been possible.
